At its May 15, 2026 meeting the South Central Kansas Library System Executive Committee reviewed and recommended the 2027 Annual Plan and Tentative Budget.  The Executive Committee considered two budget options:  one revenue neutral and the other non-revenue neutral with a 1.25% increase in expenditures.  The 1.25 % increase is equal to an additional $83,209 in expenditures in 2027. 

The State Library of Kansas Board, Topeka will meet to consider and authorize the annual plan and tentative budget at its Friday, June 12 meeting. The SCKLS System Board will meet Friday, August 21at 9:00 a.m. to hold its Revenue Neutral Rate and 2027 Official Budget hearings and meeting.  View the 2027 Annual Plan and Tentative Budget here.
