Since 2006, the South Central Kansas Library System Summer Reading Grant has provided funding to public libraries participating in the Summer Reading Program who have completed the necessary requirements. The grant provides additional funding for incentives, programs, or other materials to enhance the public library’s Summer Reading Program. 

Overview
Those public libraries participating in the Summer Reading Program who complete the end of summer Program Evaluation and the Material Order Form for the following summer, receive the Summer Reading Program Grant.  Responses are due back to the Youth Services Consultant, Julie Tomlianovich in early September and checks are mailed in the early fall.
